It is true that you can pray in the morning and read the Bible mechnicaly, but this devotional life is always better than no reading the Bible or no praying, because then you are in danger or separating yourself from the true vine!
Sometimes we do not feel the presence of God for weeks, and the christian is all by faith more than usual! In a marriage there are timens when husband and wife do not get along, but the communication is still the tool to stay together.
