Self righteousness can lead to miss heaven! We have the story of the wedding supper in the BIble and all the invited guests arrived and har to wear a special garment! Then one person who was invited did not wear the wedding garment and they asked him: 'how did you enter here not having the wedding garment?' And the men was found to be an impostor and he was cast out of the wedding! This means that if you arrive in heaven with the righteousness of Jesus, asking forgiveness all the time to Jesus for your sins and knowing your frailty, then you will make it to heaven. onlinebible, biblegateway audio bible, audio bible gateway,
The danger for some christians is self rightousness, like the pharisees, they accuse everyone and think themselves holy and pure. Why? Because they do not know what it means to be holy, in fact holiness comes from the Holy Spirit dweling in us, and God sanctifying us! But anyone knowing themselves and what constitutes sin, which satrts in the mind! They will rightly estimate themselves! And King Solomon, saw all Istarl in front of him and said to God that he did not feel capable of himself to bear oll the God's people by himself, so he asked wisdom to God.
God told Solomon, anything you ask me i will give it to you! Then because Solomon asked wisdom, God said that he will add to him riches and honor!
