All videos -Audio-bible - I had been a christian for many years and i only recently learned that the Bible features two writers who were brothers of Jesus. The book of Jude and the book of James Jude 1:1 ' Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, [and] called' and Mt 13:55 ' Is not this the carpenter's son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas?' onlinebible, biblegateway audio bible, audio bible gateway,
The gospels tell us that when Jesus was young He had a lot of struggeles with his family, they did not believe He was od in the flesh. Mary had some understanding that there was something special about Jesus, but his brothers did not understand. Sometimes faith takes years to flourish. You might have a loved one, a friend or a familly member who is not converted. Many times the person will not be converted over night! Faith is like a seed and it takes time to grow and flourish! The word of God is in the heart of the person, when faith comes, the seed grows, and after many seasons sometims the seed of big enough that full has sprung up and the person really believes the Jesus is the son God God , the Messiah sent to take you sins ans mine on Himself for the salvation of your soul to eternal life! onlinebible, biblegateway audio bible, audio bible gateway,
James after a long times started to believe that his brother was the Messiah, then was fully convinced the Jesus was the son of God. The book of James tell us that we are going to be judged by the law of liberty. Why would the 10 commandments be the law of liberty? Because there bondage in sin, if everyone keeped the 10 commandments there would be a lot more love and peace on earth, you would not have to fear that someone would steal from you! Ja 2:12 'So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.' But if someone keeps some of the 10 commandments and not others he is a transgressor of the whole law!
Many christians are confused on this point. Should we or should we not keep the ten commandments? Is it ok to steal now that Jesus died on the cross? Is it ok now to kill someone because Jesus dies on the cross and took your sins? No! So is it ok now to break the sabbath, the fourth commdment? No. All the 10 commandments are still binding! Ja 2:10,11 'For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one [point], he is guilty of all. For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.' onlinebible, biblegateway audio bible, audio bible gateway,
