All videos -Audio-bible - John was known as the beloved disciple. When John came to Jesus he was young and had many character deffects. By beholding Jesus's amazin love, Jesus' amazing kindness, Jesus' amazing mercy, Jesus' amazing humility, Jesus' amazing forgiveness John was slowly changed into the likeness of His Master. At the end of the three years spent with Jesus, John was the disciple who resembled the most to the character of Jesus. The love of Jesus with the sick, in all his interactions, in his eyes, in the tone of his voice was something John never forgot until he died.
John's gospel gives us the account of Jesus' life on earth. Especially concentrating on the last scenes of his life. Depicting the scene when Jesus was in the upper room with the disciples before His arrest in Gethsémané, the bible says that John leaned on Jesus's breast. At that moment the bible says that Jesus loved his own, and then loved them to the end! What thoughts did Jesus have for his disciples at that moment? How much love did Jesus had for his beloved and faithful workers. Does Jesus has thoughts of love towards you? Does Jesus yearns to be with you and feel extreme love for you. How much love does Jesus have for your soul?
Love is of God, he that loveth not his brother that he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? Love one another, for this is the fulfilling of the law! Love is the fulfilling of the law! For God so loved the world that He gave his only son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God sent not his only son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved!'
