Every time a Jew sinned, he had to bring a lamd to the priest and confess his sin , then kill the sinless lamb. Which would point to Jesus who would die on the cross.

The believer in Jesus since then shure had to keep the 10 Commandments because no one is saved because of the 10 Commandmentd, but salvation come only through faith in Jesus.

The christian life is the same. We believe in Jesus, but when Jesus wants proof of that love in obeying Him, then we find who really loves God
