All videos -Missionaries David gates/Experience and Views By the request of dear friends I have consented to give a brief sketch of my experience and views, with the hope that it will cheer and strengthen the humble, trusting children of the Lord. At the age of eleven years I was converted, and when twelve years old was baptized, and joined the Methodist Church. [MRS. WHITE WAS BORN AT GORHAM, MAINE, NOVEMBER 26, 1827.]
At the age of thirteen I heard William Miller deliver his second course of lectures in Portland,(read more...)Notice how he describes when “mortality is consumed from existence,” in Romans 8:22, 23, “…ourselves also, that have the firstfruits within the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, awaiting the adoption, to wit, the redemption inside our body.” This verse in Romans is an ideal, striking parallel for that verses by fifty percent Corinthians 5:1-8 and clarifies once we are fitted using this getting older. Put the similarity of language and thought:
For that Corinthians Paul Written:
“We... during this tabernacle do groan.”
“Given to us the brilliant within the Spirit.”
“Earnestly desiring being fitted upon using this house that's from paradise.”
For that Romans Paul Written:
“We groan within ourselves …”
“Have the firstfruits within the Spirit.”
“Earnest expectation… awaiting the redemption inside our body.”
Both of these scriptures are talking about exactly the same experience. The most effective object within the two caser should be to change this mortal body towards the immortal body and to change this “earthly house” towards the “house eternal within the heavens.” Please understand that in a single verse Paul was “earnestly desiring being clothed” together with his house from paradise, too just like another verse his “earnest expectation” was the “redemption in your body.”
The comparison proves this clothing from paradise exist in the “redemption in your body.” Paul adds the very best clarification in 1 Corinthians 15:5 1-53 when he again describes time this modification happens: “…we is going to be transformed, In a moment, within the twinkling in the eye, in the last trump… this mortal must situated on getting older.” Essentially, despite the fact that dying should dissolve this mortal body, Paul can make it very apparent that individuals don't situated around the house from paradise (getting older) just before the approaching of Jesus along with the redemption in your body. That is established using the repeated references for that “naked” or “unclothed” condition. bible society, bible society, bible society, / baptist missionary, christian missionary, africa missionary, christian sermon, sermon index , baptist missionary, christian missionary, africa missionary, christian sermon, sermon index, baptist missionary, christian missionary, africa missionary, christian sermon, sermon index
