If we add the generation of Adam to Jesus we have 4000 years, from the time of Jesus to now we have 2000 years. The first human being was created 6000 years ago in a garden called The garden of eden. This garden is not on earth anymore, God took it to Heaven a little bit after the fall. Adam was created on the 6 th day of creation. Adam and eve were given charge of all the garden, the only work Adam and Eve had to do was to till the garden and enjoy themselves and the presence of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the Angels. One day, the bible does not tell us how long after the creation Satan appearedt to Adam and Eve in the garden in the form of a serpent. The serpent made Adam and Eve doubt God. Adam kept faithful in his heart to God and knew that God told them not to eat of the tree in the middle of the garden. But Eve looked at the tree, how beautiful it was, how splendid and how goo to give wisdom. Eve told herself, maybe we are not going to die, if i eat maybe the serpent isd right and nothing will happen! The serpent also told the that they would not die. The bible clearly teaches than when a men dies he goes back to the grave and the spirit goes to God. The person is not alive. It is like a light buld. Electricity only happens when you have electricity + ther light bild and yoyu turn the light on = electricity. Many verses in the old and new testament tell us plainly that death is a sleeep. Jesus said about Lazarus when he dies 'Lazarus is asleep ut i go that i may awake him out of sleep' Paul says 'David the patriarch is both dead and buried' Some verses seem to say that people keep on living after death but it is not so. The parable of Lazarus and the rich man is only a parable, the rich man asking for a drop of water in hell cannot beliteral neighte Abraham's bossom! The forever and ever of the book of revelation means the punishment is forever. Malachi says that 'you shall tread down the wicked and they shall be ashes under the soles of your feets' So forever they will be no more. Forever they will not live again!
When Adam and Eve sinned, thay hid from God because the consience was already bothering them. Many people on earth still don't know about the Bible and accepting salvation only through Jesus. Their conscience is an open book to them and many people not knowing the Bible will be in Heaven that have followed what they believed to be right on earth! Adam and Eve clothed themselves with aprons, but God clothed them with a sacrifice: animal skin! From then on Adam and Eve could not enter the garden of Eden an angel was commanded to guard the garden.
The system of sacrifices was then begun and people on the earth has to kill an animal everytime they sinned! Pointing to the death of Jesus as the Lamb of God who would take away the sins of the world! Jesus dies for you friend so your sins could be forgiven and taken out of the book of God and you could be completely washed away!
