The story of the christian church is very important to understand to see the movings of God throughout the ages and the centuries. The book of Revelation tells us that there has been 7 periods of God's true church. Paul said in the Gospels that the truth about Jesus had been preached all over the earth in his time! Have you heard about the Waldenses? Hugenots? Albigenses? Lolards? These were very faithful christians, a lot more faithful than we are now. Why? Because there was extreme persecution against them, and those who stayed in the church were the true followers of Jesus. Now is the first time in history when christians are not persecuted. In fact the inquisition only ended about 200 years ago and went on for about 2000 years counting the persecution of the Roman emperors against the truth church. What is the history of the church? Many books have been written but some of the history of the church educations has not been exact. Wylie one of the great reformation historian is safe to read and his history is exact. The story of the Waldenses has been deleted from many schools's history books in Europe. America as an a amazing christian nation kept the light of the truth, but many Americans do not understand the level of spirituality in Europe, in fact it is not very apparent at all and it takes a white to find out why Europe is really the place where the Church needs to send missisonaries especially France which could be the most atheist nations in the world.  Church history online.history of the church online, church history online, christian video site,

History books in France and in schools say that Peter Waldo was the founder of the Waldenses, The Waldenses were the christians who were converted by the apostle Paul. When Paul dies in Rome the Waldenses were persecuted and fled to north Italy in the piedmont mountains where they stayed during all the middle ages. The story of the Waldenses is one of the most amazing story ever written.

There you can find a true account of what it meant to be a christian, We owe mostly the bible to the Waldenses who kept the light of truth until the reformation came. Then in Chanforan in southern France the leaders of the Reformation and the Waldenss meet to allie forces against the persecuting power of the papacy. These true christians kept the bible sabbath as taught by the apostle Paul.

From the book Riches of grace by Joe crews: C H A P T E R   1: Oh! The Riches of His GraceI read recently about a business executive whose work was to continually conduct interviews of people who were seeking positions in his corporation.

I’m not saying this is a good way to judge and classify people—by initial impressions—but, unfortunately, most of us do it, either consciously or unconsciously. church history online history of the church online, church history online, christian video site

We make quick decisions, quite unfairly, based on how we respond to an individual’s walk, smile or haircut.
Let me ask you a question.
Does God judge us in the same way that we judge each other? history of the church online, church history online, christian video site,
Aren’t you glad He doesn’t? He looks at the same people we do, but the Bible says that He does everything “according to the riches of His grace.” And what a difference that makes! Man looks on the outward appearance but God looks on the heart. One of the strangest texts in the Bible is found in 1 Corinthians 1:27, 28. Paul wrote, “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty.” How is that possible?  Our human reasoning says that it can never be done. How could lowly, ignorant people or things be used to embarrass the intelligence of the highly educated?
